Exhibitors' and participants' opinion of the previous editions of the fairs.
Dariusz Klimkiewicz, visited Expo looking for a restaurant franchise (in 2009)
I arrived at the Expo seeking a restaurant franchise. I am very pleased that
there are so many franchise exhibitors from this sector. Even if I don’t make a decision today, I have the opportunity to compare different companies franchise systems and I will gather some information from them, which I hope help me make the best decision.
Jacek Zagrobelny, owner of Toy Planet network involved in the sale of toys (exhibitor in
2009)
Our network is new to the market and we came to the Fair to introduce it to the public. I didn’t think so many people would visit us. We had many conversations with the potential
franchisees, which may in the near future bring new clients.
Monika Dąbrowska, specialist of McDonald's franchise in Poland, Polish President
of Franchise Organization (exhibitor in 2008 and 2009)
We had many conversations with people interested in McDonald's license at Expo. I hope that some of them will result in signing the contracts and the opening of our new restaurants. Interest in our Fair grows from year to year. More and more people think about franchising as a way for your own business. You could see the growing interest from the exhibitors’ side as well. At the fair, there are more than 40 companies, which many of them are promoting their companies for the first time at the Expo. Our stand was very popular among the visitors. Companies operating in the market increasingly recognize the need to impose certain rules of action in franchise, and ethical standards that is why they join the POF so willingly. After this year's Expo the members of POF were expanded by several new companies.
Tomasz Zawadzki, along with his friends was looking for an idea for a financial franchise
(in 2009)
I'm looking for a franchise system from the financial sector. I run this kind of business for sometime and I would continue to grow in this direction. I think that this will enable me
to accede to some of the franchise network. Such personal contact with the franchisers is very
important, because you can learn the system closely before making a decision.
Mariusz Lignowski, CEO Medsun (exhibitor in 2009)
Expo is a place where you can meet and talk. It's easier to contact and communicate with the
potential franchises. Introduce and explain the details of our offer. Answer their questions and dispel their doubts.
Izabella Borowska, Presto Pizzeria (exhibitor in 2009)
We wanted to introduce our brand in Warsaw market, because right here, in the near future we will begin our search for new franchisees. We expected that most of the visitors would be from Warsaw and its surroundings, whereas we had visitors from different cities, even distant parts of Poland.
Grzegorz Kaszuba from Techno Service, a company distributing machine for pizza production
(Exhibitor in 2009)
Automate for the pizza production is a novelty on a global scale. So far, these machines are in use only in Italy. Poland next to the UK and the U.S. is one of the first countries where those machines will be distributed. Interest in our concept was huge. We were asked about the possibility of cooperation, and people wanted more details of our offer.
Kinga Wojciechowska, franchise manager of Fornetti (exhibitor in 2008, 2009)
Our last experience, participating in 6th Polish Franchise Expo show, that the franchie concept of Fornetti is realy popular. Our stand at the Polish Franchise Expo was visited by hundred entreprenuers, and more than 50 left the business card. All the time we receive the phones from the potential franchisees. They have seen people queueing so they decided to contact with us directly.
Monika Czapińska, franchise manager of Mr Hamburger (exhibitor in 2007, 2008, 2009)
I find Polish Franchise Expo as very succesfull event. Our stand was visited by more than 100 entreprenuers. We had a business talks with at least 80 willing, and nowadays we settle 4 agreements. I think, for the first presentation is a big success.
Olga Dodacka, OneBiz-Group, Portugal (exhibitor in 2004)
We had several major speakers at the Franchise Expo. Probably less than other franchise networks, but we tried to sell a master license, and we needed people with more amount of investment . But we managed to find the right person through the Franchisie Expo and we enter the Polish market.
Martyna Fon, Public Relations Manager Nicole Network (exhibitor in 2004)
I am happy with the participation in Franchise Expo. Our stand was visited by people who were looking for an idea for your own business. Some of them came specifically to see with us. We had really hard work, a week after the Franchise Expo resulted in signing of two new franchise agreements.
